MONTHLY DIVERSION OF N176M MEANT FOR Z-SIP IN ZAMFARA IS ALARMING

Zamfara Whistleblower, Aminu  Umar (Game - Game) has again raised another scam in Zamfara State Government where One Hundred and Seventy Six million Naira are diverted  monthly.

Aminu Umar who is the Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the embattle deputy governor of Zamfara State, Mahdi Aliyu Gusau said, the N176,000,000.00 are being deducted from the account of 14 Local government councils of the state in the name of Z-SIP (Zamfara Social Investment Programme) which was designed to reduce poverty in the state.

The PPS revealed that, the state governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle is the gate keeper of all government accounts in the state as he sees and approve any transaction on the accounts and he receives alerts of all the transactions as it affect the state.

According to him, the Z-SIP programme took off in the month of February, 2020 where all the selected beneficiaries are expected to be receiving Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) stipend monthly and they received last payment of the stipends since November, 2020 but every month the N176,000,000.00 are been deducted from the local government councils accounts .

Aminu Game-Game who challenged the Zamfara State Government under Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle to explain how it spends the money said, only Seventy Six Million Naira is being used to pay the selected beneficiaries while the remaining One Hundred Million Naira is been diverted on monthly basis. Hence the need for explanation.

The Deputy Governor's PPS also Disclosed that, the state government is bedeviled with so many sycophants and saboteurs who placed their selfish interest ahead of the yearnings and aspirations of the masses.
