By Our Reporter A coalition of over 400 contractors engaged by Formal Act Legacy Ltd, acting as consultants to the 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Kaduna State, has issued a passionate appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, seeking urgent intervention over unpaid contracts that have left many financially ruined and devastated. In an open letter addressed to the President, the contractors, under the banner of “Concerned Contractors to Formal Act Legacy Ltd,” detailed a harrowing ordeal that began between January 2022 and early 2023. According to the letter, the contractors were awarded projects covering critical development needs—including drilling water boreholes, constructing and rehabilitating primary health care centers, and supplying hospital equipment, ambulances, and medicines—under what was presented as a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) partnership involving all 23 LGAs of Kaduna State.
