On  assumption on duty as Minister federal republic of nigeria, 
In partial fulfilment of her policy she mark her First Day with Women and Children in Hospital, to sustain her philanthropic drives towards providing succour to the less privileged in the society.


She  visit the National Hospital to identify with indigent Nigerians who cannot afford their hospital bills.


 Which is part of her vision is to improve the well-being of Nigerian Women and Children through quality health care, skill acquisition programs and others in line with the policy focus of Mr. President on renewed hope for Nigerians.


She embarked on a series of engagements demonstrating her dedication to the empowerment and well-being of women and children across Nigeria.


The minister after her inauguration, had a meeting at the Ministry of Women Affairs headquarters with key members of staff to discuss strategic priorities and action plans aimed at advancing gender equality and the welfare of women in various sectors.


Following the meeting, Minister Kennedy addressed the press in a candid press conference, highlighting the ministry’s commitment to fostering an inclusive society where women’s rights and opportunities are safeguarded and promoted.


She emphasized the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to achieve tangible results in women’s development.


Also, the team of journalists findings revealed that after BARR. UJU KENNEDY OHANENYE, took over as the Hon. Minister of women affairs, majority of citizens realized that she is far better than past minister’s, because in less than five months she has put in place necessary measures and administative result oriented programmes in the federal ministry of women affairs..


Therefore, Barr. Uju Kennedy can now be describe as a transformational leader; a turnaround management expert, or an organizational renewal expert, the woman, sees himself as a team player who can deliver unusual results working with others.
