'Anti-graft agency Should Re-invites Hadi Sirika'
The Fact Finder and Transparency has called on the Anti-graft agency to revisit the case of alleged over N80billion fraud against the former Minister of aviation Sen. Hadi Sirika while he was the minister.
The group, made the call in a press statement issued to newsmen in Abuja on Sunday.
The statement said;
"We as civil society organization, demanding the continuation of the investigation of the fraud allegations against Senator Hadi Sirika the former nigeria aviation minister on the alleged over N80billion fraud.
"Sirika case should be reviewed, been amongst the high-profile cases in Nigeria".
“It should immediately reviewed been one of the high-profile cases, and shouldn't be an exception like others, something will be done under the law and no one is above the law and no case shall be swept under the carpet.
“Hadi Sirika case shouldn't be swept under the law".
The group called on the anti-graft agency to continue investigating the alleged fraud, diversion and mismanagement of public funds by Aen. Sirika during his tenure as the nigeria aviation minister.
The group said this will serve as a deterrence to others contemplating engaging in corrupt practices in public office given to what happened to the suspended Humanitarian Affairs Minister, Dr Betta Edu,
“We urge the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to revisit the corruption case of Hadi Sirika, who is allegedly diverted over N80billion.
Reliable source revealed that remaining billions laundered from the aviation ministry by the former minister Sen. Hadi Sirika traced.
