Alleged Financial Misconduct: Investigate and Sack Sadiq Mamman Lagos For Diverting Over N500m LG Funds, Group Tell Uba Sani





A civil Society organization, Fact Finder and Transparency Group has called on the executive Governor of Kaduna state, Senator Uba Sani, to quickly investigate and sack the kaduna commissioner Ministry for local government and chieftancy affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos over the alleged diversion of local government funds.


The group in a Press statement through the Ag. executive chairman, Comrade Bamidele Folorunsho, said that the Governor of Kaduna state should immediately constitued a panel of investigation to investigate Mamman Lagos for allegedly embezzling over N500 million local government funds, and bought a house in Maitama, Abuja.


The group lamented that Mamman Lagos has rendered local government areas and it's council chairmen redundant and stifled development at the grassroots level.

“The money that was meant to be used by the local government to make the lives of the people better is being siphoned. 

“The local government chairmen are just sitting down warming the benches at their respective local governments. 

“The truth will actually prevailed, we will follow this to ensure that the governor actually act on the allegations.

“We want governor Uba Sani to act and beam his searchlight into what has happened to the over N500 million of kaduna state local government funds.
