FUDMA Matriculated 1,071 Students




The College of Postgraduate Studies, Federal University Dutsin-Ma has matriculated 1,071 students during the 7th Matriculation ceremony of the college held at the Prof. Abdu Lawal Saulawa Auditorium, Take-Off Campus.


Speaking at the ceremony, The University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Armayau Hamisu Bichi said FUDMA is Committed and dedicated to providing world-class postgraduate education supported by state-of-the-art facilities, well-equipped laboratories, comprehensive libraries and advanced IT infrastructure. 

‘’When I assumed office, the then School of Postgraduate Studies had only 17 programmes and less than 20 students. However, through the unwavering commitment of the University Management and the tireless efforts of our dedicated staff, we have successfully transformed the school into a full-fledged College of Postgraduate Studies. Today, the College offers a total of 232 postgraduate programmes and has an enrollment of over 3,000 students as of this academic year’’ he said.


According to him, these resoutorces are strategically designed to enhance the quality of education and research saying that ‘’ I encourage all our newly matriculated students to take full advantage of these facilities to maximize their learning potential and contribute meaningfully to knowledge and national development’’.

"This is a historic moment as this is the first set of students being matriculated under the College of Postgraduate Studies following its recent upgrade. This transition is part of our broader vision to make postgraduate education at FUDMA a benchmark for academic excellence in Nigeria and beyond’’.

‘’ True to its motto of "Not a day longer.” the College has maintained an outstanding record of graduating students at almost every Senate meeting over the last four years. 

This is a clear indication that the management of the College is proactive, efficient and fully committed to ensuring that students complete their programmes within the stipulated time frame. 

The University Management deeply appreciates this dedication and teamwork’’ he addedTo my dear matriculating students, Prof. Bichi said ‘’ today marks the beginning of an academic journey that requires diligence, discipline and determination.
